Thanks for all the feedback first off!
We managed to get our hands on a Roku LT 2400X which is probably the slowest Roku player you can get right now! We've made some crazy optimizations. I know there are still plenty of bugs out there, and we're going through them as fast as we can, but if you're on an older player, give this one a shot! We've also updated the HDMI required screen to reflect what we really mean, which is you need to have your TV set to 720p or 1080p output.
Go to Settings -> Display type and select it there.
As always, let us know!
Roku 2XS reporting in from up here in the wet territories.
to paraphrase: by jove, i think you've got it.
to translate: it's working, at least for mine. menus, posters, selections, it all seems to be there. except i didn't have a "Display type" option in my settings menu. didn't need it, though.
probably the one thing that doesn't seem to work right is something out of your hands... i selected "highest rated" and all i could say was "WTF?!?! seriously?" aside from that small bother, all things on your end on my end seem to be well.
ah. i'm betting you meant on my Roku, not in Scout...
